Everything worth knowing before your first session
Plainly and without the marketing noise - how EMS works, what a session looks like and why it is safe.
Book a trial sessionWhat electrical muscle stimulation actually is
EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) is a form of training in which gentle electrical impulses support the natural work of your muscles. The impulses also engage muscles that are hard to reach in traditional training - including the deep muscles responsible for stabilizing your posture and spine.
At WORK IT EMS we combine electrical muscle stimulation with simple, functional exercises, so a single session engages many parts of the whole body.
The result?
In just 20 minutes you complete an effective full-body session - without spending hours at the gym.
What an intro session looks like
Although a regular session takes 20 minutes, set aside about an hour for your first visit. A little extra time lets us get to know you and what you need.
- 1
Getting to know you
We start with a short interview. We'll talk about what you want to achieve, your current level of fitness and what matters most to you. Together we'll work out how best to plan your EMS sessions.
- 2
Getting you ready to train
You'll be given a modern, dry and wireless training suit fitted with a system of electrodes. We'll also explain, step by step, what training with electrical muscle stimulation involves and why there is nothing to be afraid of. We adapt everything to you, so you don't need any previous experience with EMS.
- 3
20 minutes of training
Then we move on to the full-body session. We combine electrical muscle stimulation with simple, functional exercises. The session itself takes 20 minutes and starts with a short warm-up.
- 4
A moment for yourself
After the session you can use the shower and a towel we've set out for you. There's also coffee and a post-workout protein shake waiting.
- 5
What next?
At the end we'd like to hear how it felt, answer your questions and talk through what your next sessions could look like.
What to bring
You don't need to prepare anything for your first session. We provide the training suit, water and a towel. We train barefoot or in socks. If you prefer to train in shoes, bring a clean, indoor pair of sports shoes.
Parking
If you're driving, there's a parking space available behind the barrier. Once you arrive, call us on 798 994 228 - we'll open the barrier and let you in.
Does EMS training hurt? No.
During the session you'll feel a gentle tingling and your muscles clearly working. We always match the intensity of the impulses to you and raise it gradually, depending on how it feels. You decide how hard we work. At any moment you can say “less” - we'll turn the intensity down and set it to your comfort.

You train in a dry, wireless suit
Forget soaking a suit before training and untangling cables. You put the dry, wireless EMS suit on quickly and comfortably - no wet fabric, no unpleasant smell, no damp against your skin.
A clean, fresh suit is waiting for every session, prepared specifically for you. You don't need to bring anything or wash anything afterwards. More comfort. Less preparation. You simply come in and train.
- Suit included in the session
- Private bathroom
EMS without limits on movement
Dry, fully wireless EMS suits give you the freedom that electrical muscle stimulation training used to lack. With no cables, no soaking and nothing holding you back, you can train in any position and through a full range of motion.
That means EMS doesn't have to be a dull, static workout. With your coach you can use dumbbells, bands, a bench, a box, gymnastic rings, balls, skipping ropes or mats - and pick exercises that suit your level and your goal.
Your session can be strength-focused, more dynamic and conditioning-based, built on your own body weight, or centered on mobility, stretching and recovery.
The equipment doesn't dictate how you train. Your coach matches it to you.

Frequently asked questions
How often should I train?
If you want faster progress, we recommend 2 sessions a week, leaving at least 2 days between them.
We always match the frequency to your goal, your activity level and how well you recover.
Are there any contraindications to EMS training?
Yes. The most important ones include pregnancy, a pacemaker and certain illnesses and health conditions.
Before your first session we run a short health interview and check whether EMS is a suitable and safe form of training for you.
How long does the whole visit take?
The session itself, including the warm-up, takes about 25 minutes. We reserve 40 minutes for the visit, so you have time to get ready, train and change - without rushing.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. We provide the dry EMS suit, water and a towel. We train barefoot or in socks. If you prefer to train in shoes, bring a clean, indoor pair of sports shoes.
How quickly will I see results?
First sensations, such as firmer skin or less tension in your back, can appear after just a few sessions. Visible changes in body shape usually show after a few weeks of regular training - especially when paired with a suitable diet.
How soon can I train after pregnancy?
Returning to training depends on the type of birth and how recovery goes. Most often you can begin gentle activity around 6–8 weeks after giving birth, while after a caesarean section the return may take longer.
Before starting EMS training it is worth consulting a doctor or a urogynecological physiotherapist to make sure your body is ready to exercise.
